About Me

I'm Honduran and Chinese, growing up moving between cultures and categories - sometimes celebrated and other times, oversimplified. That early exposure to how people are misread and boxed in shaped how I see the world today - how identities are erased or simplified before people can tell their own stories.

Today, I focus on work that builds equity through narrative, whether that's amplifying overlooked voices, challenging assumptions or making space for complexity. I'm less interested in telling stories for others and more interested in creating avenues where people can tell their own.

My background spans journalism, media relations, research and advocacy. I've led and supported integrated communications strategies for higher education institutions, influencers, medical experts and nonprofits. I'm drawn to mission-driven and social impact organizations where storytelling and strategy can drive meaningful change.
